Overview
We
are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to oversee the human
resources function in our medium-sized educational institution. As the
HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our
HR processes, policies, and programs to ensure the effective functioning
of the institution's workforce.
Responsibilities
- HR Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the institution's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities and initiatives.
- Forecast HR needs and plan for recruitment, training, and talent development.
- Recruitment and Selection:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process for teaching and non-teaching positions.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Ensure a fair and efficient selection process, including screening, interviewing, and finalizing job offers.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote effective communication.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Coordinate with internal and external trainers to deliver training sessions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and organizational standards.
- HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to senior management.
- Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Make data-driven recommendations for enhancing HR practices and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
